Snapchat has introduced a new feature, the Dual Camera, in yet another update. Yes, it is. Users may now record many things simultaneously, capturing more than one perspective.
Imagine you’re at a concert you’ve been waiting for all summer. With a Dual Camera, you can have the front camera face yourself and the back capture video from two different angles.

Here’s how to get to it:
- make sure the app is updated
- open Snapchat and select the Dual Camera icon, located in the toolbar in the upper right-hand corner
- pick your layout: a vertical, horizontal, picture-in-picture, or cutout

Dual Camera is now available to all iOS users throughout the world. Snapchat claims the feature will be available on Android in the following months. Unlike other recent features, users do not need to be a subscriber to Snapchat’s subscription service to access it. Snapchat gives me a photo credit for the shoot.
