Telegram, a messaging service with millions of users, has announced a premium membership tier that costs $4.99 per month. Users that upgrade to the premium model have access to additional and improved features. The increase in upload size to 4GB is one of the premium tier’s advantages. The model also makes it possible for the user to download the material more quickly.
It also has increased the number of features available, including the ability to follow up to 1000 channels, create up to 20 chat folders with 200 messages each, pins up to 10 chats, and store up to 10 favorite stickers.
Premium sticker collections, unique emoji reactions, and animated profile images are available to those who purchase the premium package. It also includes the possibility of having a voice-to-text discussion to help with communication.
Some of the new features will be available to non-premium customers, according to The Verge. They may also access bigger files provided by subscribers, as well as premium stickers and emojis.
The subscription model will allow the firm to raise funds to enhance and extend the platform for all users.
