AR developers can now wear their avatars and incorporate them into Geenee-powered WebAR experiences thanks to the Ready Player Me connection with Geenee AR.

A new collaboration between Geenee AR and Ready Player Me will let individuals join this new world as digital identities become more vital. They’ll be able to design and wear avatars in WebAR experiences and produce interactive content without ever writing a line of code.

Geenee AR’s and Ready Player Me’s Advantages

Each of the two partners has developed cutting-edge solutions for the immersive technology sector. On the one hand, Ready Player Me is a “metaverse cross-game avatar platform,” allowing anybody to build and personalize their avatar. Users may take a picture or utilize a template avatar from the library to design their avatar.

Geenee AR, on the other hand, has taken WebAR experiences to the next level with their WebAR builder: full-body tracking. WebAR has been confined to facial tracking, letting users utilize animal filters on Snapchat or Instagram and take on cosmetics and haircuts online. Without an app, Geenee AR has now made it possible to monitor the whole body using the smartphone camera.

Users of Ready Player Me will be able to utilize the avatar in WebAR experiences produced with Geenee AR’s Full Body Tracking SDK, thanks to the new relationship.

How Does the Process Work?

Both developers and non-technical users will benefit from the collaboration. Because the Ready Player Me avatars are rigged to work with Geenee AR’s WebAR Full-Body Tracking SDK, AR developers and creators can now sign into their existing Ready Player Me accounts directly from Geenee and use the drag-and-drop WebAR builder to integrate Ready Player Me avatars into an AR scene or Geenee AR game template.

Non-technical users may “wear” their avatars by designing them with Ready Player Me, downloading the. glb file, and placing it into the Geenee Try-on Demo.

Timmu Tke, CEO and co-founder of Ready PlayerMe, stated, “We are thrilled with Geenee AR fullbody tracking technology and how well it plays with our avatars.” “We’re excited to see what our users come up with.” We’re particularly excited to see the Ready Player Me avatar builder integrated deeply into Geenee AR.”

What Impact Does WebAR’s Ability to Wear Avatar Have on Our World?

Given the businesses’ need to reach their customers everywhere, including the virtual world, the growth potential is enormous. Companies from many industries (retail, fashion, cosmetics, etc.) may offer their clients entirely personalized and unique experiences, ranging from brand storytelling to marketing campaigns for the AR world.

“The artistic realism of [Ready Player Me] distinguishes the quality of the user experience from cartoonish avatars that detract from immersive spatial experiences,” said Cory Grenier, CEO of Geenee AR, when discussing the future potential of using avatars in conjunction with full-body tracking technology. “Geenee is thrilled to be bridging AR and blockchain with Ready Player Me as we co-develop a Web3(d) future where art and artificial intelligence merge to produce meaningful goods that have never been seen before.”
